Pokémon TCG Pocket is set to expand its ever-growing roster with the release of Triumphant Light, a new mini-booster pack that focuses on Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Announced during the Pokémon Day Presents broadcast, this exciting addition will officially launch tomorrow, February 28.
Sinnoh’s Legendary Power Takes Center Stage
Triumphant Light brings a wave of new cards into Pokémon TCG Pocket, with headlining Pokémon including Arceus ex and Garchomp ex. The set emphasizes strategic deck-building by enhancing Arceus ex’s capabilities through various Pokémon abilities.
One standout feature of this expansion is how Basic Heatran interacts with Arceus ex. While on the bench, Heatran’s ability can remove Arceus ex’s retreat cost, giving players greater mobility in battle. Additionally, Arceus ex is immune to Special Conditions, making it a formidable counter to strategies relying on status effects.
A Mini-Booster with Big Impact
Unlike major expansions like Space-Time Smackdown or Genetic Apex, Triumphant Light is a smaller set designed to provide fresh content between major updates. Players can expect additional events, including Wonder Trade opportunities and Solo Battles, making this set a perfect way to stay engaged while waiting for the next big release.
As with previous expansions, Triumphant Light will be available alongside other sets in TCG Pocket. Players can acquire packs using Pack Stamina, Pack Hourglasses, or Poké Gold, ensuring multiple ways to access the latest cards and strategies.
